Laurel Emperor Beta Readers!

Looking for a few good men and women to beta read Laurel Emperor! Do you have what it takes to read a book before it’s released and tell me what you think?

Greetings! Welcome to 2018 – I’m a bit behind I know. But things have been busy here. I’ve spent the last few days completing the entire Laurel Emperor outline (for real!) and have begun the last few chapters. If you didn’t know, I wrote the final chapter of the series somewhere in the middle of book number two. Don’t ask me why, I just happened to feel the need to record where everything was going.

Needless to say, it needs a few updates. But updates I can provide!

Current Word Count 68k

Chapters to go –  10

Due Date – SOON.

Which brings me to the goal of this post. As I’m reaching the end, I’ll need a few beta readers. I already have two lined up, but I’m a firm believer in sharing the load. You’ll get a chance to access the novel before anyone else, and I look forward to hearing your ideas about my writing! Use the contact me page on the blog to send me an email. I’ll pick the first few people who get their information in to me, and we’ll have a quick chat.

Sound like a plan?

It is!

Also – No More Major Spoilers Now! – I won’t be doing big snippets to avoid giving away key details of the last novel. That would be cheating (and unfun) So here’s your quick snippet of the day – Also, this was shared on Facebook before here, so be sure to go there and Like my page!

Constantine squeezed his eyes shut until finally he drifted off again. It wasn’t until the daylight finally streamed through the open flap of his tent, landing upon his face that he finally sat up.

“Report.”

“The eggs and bacon are ready for your inspection, my Primus.”

General Caesar chuckled. Constantine threw a pillow at him, causing the man to turn gracefully and avoid losing the plate held between his thumb and forefinger.

“Not very dignified of you, my lord.” He chided, placing the plate down next to the bundle of blankets serving as a bed. Constantine picked up the fork and attacked the steaming plate. Julius disappeared for a moment before returning with a tin mug of coffee.

“Ah…” It was all Constantine could say as he reached for the coffee.

Ciao! – Daniel
