Hi All,
Been super busy these last few days and had less time than I wanted for typing. Grad schools classes don’t really lend themselves to allowing for free time, but that’s an excuse, not a good reason.
Anyways, here’s a brief poem on Motivation. Pretty accurately describes the situation right now!
Motivation
Slipping and sliding through your fingers
Once there, once gone, better hit the
exact spot
before it lies lost
as a King’s last pawn.
In one ear, then out the other
Once started
Twice forgotten
or worse, ignored
left to rot on data files or in leather-bound journals
Musty, old, but then
rediscovered and attempted again
new energy flowing in, new roots taking grip
until
behold
something
is finally
finished.
