Hi All,
Well, it has certainly been an insane week here in the United States, and with our schools on lockdown and more and more parts of our society shut down due to the Covid 19, we’re about to become shut-ins for the next few weeks. I hope that this will help flatten the curve and keep more people I know healthy.
Good news – its a great time to read books!

It’s been a crazy week, but here’s a teaser of the new cover of The Last Gladiator to make your day!
Hi all,
It’s been a crazy week! Between starting soccer, and getting sick with a nasty bug that doesn’t want to let my voice go, it’s been a tricky time. Such is life! I’ve made only a little headway on projects due to convalescing. But I can announce that I’ll be ready to release the cover art for the Last Gladiator this upcoming week! So some progress!
I also realized that I never actually set a goal for this week! Eek!
So for this next wee, I want to get to the 35,000 word mark in the Last Gladiator. That’s my aimed end point, and I’d love to actually be able to get this thing done. Before that, here’s a teaser!

Hi all,
Let’s hear how accountable I was this week! What did I do?
Well,
I wrote a 4,000 word short story, so yay for being successful! I also published my latest D&D adventure – the Invasion of the Phandelver Valley. So lots got done this week. I ended up not submitting my short story. I felt it didn’t match the parameters of the request (a steampunk fairy tale) and instead was a more exploration with fantasy components.
So now I’ve got 4,000 words for A Brief History of New Caesaria 🙂
Last week’s goals were…
How did I do?
Well, I didn’t make my goal, mainly because I got very distracted by writing an entirely unrelated short story! I have some news to share soon about both Shore Leave and getting Cover Art together. So my goal this week is simple!
Finish a 4,000 word steampunk fairy tale story to submit to a publication for the first time ever! I’ll let you know how it goes!
Wish me luck!
– Daniel
Howdy all,
Been a busy week here, and I got a chunk done!
What were my goals?
Goals:
I completed the first part, and still working on the second. What are my goals for next week? Continue reading “Year of Accountability – 2/17-2/23”
Hi all,
Here’s another Year of Accountability posting! Last week’s goals were…
1.) Get to 27,000 words in the Last Gladiator.
2.) Continue to tweet daily about my books.
3.) Get into another event / convention & be confirmed for this!
How’d I do?
Well, I definitely didn’t tweet daily about my books, but I am continuing to tweet! I’ve managed to get to 27,000 words in the Last Gladiator, so that’s also awesome. I’m still waiting to be confirmed for the Gaithersburg Book Festival, but I was confirmed for the Maryland Renaissance Festival, so I’ll be attending at least one event this year (Hurray!).
Otherwise, my new goal is to reach 30,000 this week. I really want to be able to focus on that and get it done.
In other news, I’ve upgraded my internet and such, so I’ll be able to do work and research must faster than I’ve been used to. Which is a benefit outside what I was expecting!
Goals:
