Day 18 – NaNoWriMo Battles Continue!

More Progress on Day 18

When last we left our intrepid Romans (and villains, but that’s another chapter), they were busy trying to undo the damage of the Mongol invasion (and other things). The first handful of Kickstarter packages go out tomorrow. The remainder should go out Saturday! The books have a new matte cover and they look and feel awesome!

PS Steel Praetorian’s been a bit paused, but we eeked over the 27,500 word line today. There simply aren’t enough hours in the day to get everything done! But progress is progress. We’re more than 1/4 of the way done with Novel #4 and it’s only been 2 and a half weeks! That’s epic progress for me, Mr. Slow Writer.

NaNoWriMo2015 – Day 13

Day 13 – the writing continues after a day off of blogging.

Hey all,

So yes, I missed a day of blogging, but not writing! – it has been the most exhausting week with conferences and long days, plus we’re preparing our school for moving, so… yea. Very draining. However, I have some fun additional news. The two books that I’ve been working on as an Educational Consultant have arrived! Nothing says success like diversity in your operations! (Plus, being able to say ‘Educational Consultant’ on a teacher’s resume is pretty cool.)

Remember to Preorder Iron Tribune through Amazon and Smashwords and check out my other novels, Brass Legionnaire and Copper Centurion! Also check out my Facebook Iron Tribune Release Party!

I look forward to seeing all your questions in two Fridays! Only a short ways away!

Here’s a brief snippet from Steel Praetorian to wet your whistle.

NaNoWriMo2015 Day 11 Of Boxes and Books

A smattering of writing, plus a Kickstarter Update!

Hi everyone!

Day 11 has progressed…barely, but we moved some! I added another couple of hundred words. To be honest, I’m exhausted tonight. We had conferences at school today, which kept me on my feet and out late. So I’m not going to share any sneak peaks because there isn’t much to share. Other than a very special Mongol man with an obsession for technology that his companions think is hilarious.

Also, for my Kickstarter backers, I promised I’d keep you up to date as soon as the books came in. And guess what? They’re in! I had two large boxes waiting for me today. I opened them to discover goodies 🙂 If I can, I’ll find a way to share awesome pictures. Of boxes and books.

So a timeline update – Now that I’ve got the books in gear, I should have time to sign and load them up on Friday/Saturday. Meaning that, I HOPE to have them posted by Saturday if I have enough time Friday night.

I’ll post another update to the Kickstarter page once orders have been shipped 🙂

Day 10 of NaNoWriMo2015

Day 10! Back in the Swing of Things

Day 10! Working hard once again! This week will truly be the hardest one to complete my writing goals. Between my day job, being social with my friends (Necessary for one like me, who only talks to 7-year-olds during the day) and actually sleeping, it’s hard to carve out time to write. However, I foresee a greater chance of actually reaching my goals this weekend (Plus I’m trying to keep my buffer intact as much as possible. 20,000 words tonight here we come!) Today’s snipped is from Alexandros. I’m already to Chapter 6, and we’re revisiting what’s happening to our erstwhile Airship Captain.

Remember to Preorder Iron Tribune through Amazon and Smashwords and check out my other novels, Brass Legionnaire and Copper Centurion! Also check out my Facebook Iron Tribune Release Party!

Greetings everyone! Welcome to day 8 of NaNoWriMo2015 – I can’t believe I’ve made it a whole week blogging every day about my writing, much less that I’ve actually managed to write every single day. Today’s writing is a chapter for Julius, our erstwhile hero of the people.

Current Progress and Word Count: EDITED: 17,157

Current Goal for today: 18,000

Not sure what’s going on in the series? Preorder Iron Tribune through Amazon and Smashwords and check out my other novels, Brass Legionnaire and Copper Centurion! 14, 356 Words – Plus Corbus’ first chapter in Steel Praetorian

We’ve crossed the Rubicon, I mean the 14,000 word mark! Here’s a teaser of what I’ve been writing.

So I can’t share much about today’s chapter because it reveals too many secrets, but here’s a quick snippet. I’ll be posting a longer entry tomorrow as you got two blog postings today! As a reminder, you can still get my latest novel, Iron Tribune through Amazon and Smashwords! Also check out my Facebook Iron Tribune Release Party! Want to ask questions about Steel Praetorian, I’ll answer those as well. Plus, if we’re lucky, they’ll be a sneak peak of the Steel Praetorian Cover art as well!Screen Shot 2015-11-07 at 4.28.50 PM
